Welcome to North of Boston Mahjong.

 

My name is Lytania Mackey, and I’m passionate about sharing the joy of this timeless game. My regular golf foursome was looking for a new activity when we realized one of us was a Mahjong expert (Mahj with Amy). She taught us and from there, Mahjong & Mulligans (my instagram profile) was born, and I began learning everything I could about the history of the game, strategy, and eventually, started teaching others. Now I am lucky enough to teach large group events with the person who taught me, carrying on the tradition that is Mahjong - passing it along to others as a way to connect and bring joy. 

 

As a certified educator with multiple degrees in education, I teach new concepts to adults regularly via conferences, professional development, and corporate training.  Mahjong is a lifelong game. It is a way to bring community and connection to your home without technology and screen time and it brings absolute joy to everyone who plays it.
